The Grand Sathorn Hotel - Bangkok

- Spacious room, rooftop pool with view, efficient AC

The room we had included an iron with ironing board, several windows, and a kitchen. The hotel was in a wonderful location next to supermarket, the Skytrain and the express boats and Bangkok for two more days.

They served basic breakfast, it can definitely be improved.

The decor is charmingly outdated, nothing like the photos. I had to make multiple trips to the reception because nobody ever answered the phone, very inconvenient. Expected a welcome gift for my troubles, but i guess that's too much to ask. I was almost going to give a good review, but just couldn't overlook these issues.

The location of this nicely presented hotel was unbeatable, up on ferry on the Chao Phraya river or the Sky Train. Spent a nice evening at Silvio's Bistro, located a minute walk from the venue. Appreciated the way our a nice size double room on the sleep quality was arranged. An electric kettle and a refrigerator were a big plus.

We stayed in a great-sized and soundproof room with good lighting & plenty of spaces to work, and truly enjoyed it.

The staff was friendly and accommodating throughout our stay.

My room was far from what was advertised. I was led to believe I would get a king-sized bed, but it wasn't. The noise from the street made it impossible to sleep on the first night, and the pool had a foul smell, giving my kids rashes. I certainly didn't expect such issues during our vacation. This experience has been disappointing.

Everything was great, the parking was on-site, the room was absolutely gorgeous. The room was big, and we had an excellent view of the roof top. An iron, several windows, and a kitchen were appreciated.

This place suits me perfectly, offering excellent amenities like a rooftop pool, fitness centre, 24-hour reception, and air conditioning. On my first stay, the staff kindly helped me find tasty food nearby. I'll be back for a romantic escape!

We enjoyed the convenient access to nearby eateries, particularly the charming rooftop bar. The spacious room offered a comfortable area to unwind, though the outdated furnishings were surprising. For restful nights, I recommend requesting a room away from the street to minimize noise disturbances.

The location was really good, super close to the skytrain and sathorn pier, made it easy to explore bangkok! The staff were super nice and friendly, always a plus. Breakfast had a lot of options for everyone, loved it. Our room was comfy and quiet, perfect for us as a couple. The rooftop pool was nice, great views!
